The NEMO® B.Max in block design with directly flanged drive from NETZSCH sets new standards in biogas and environmental technology through maximum mixing and conveyance of the media. It is the result of continuous development of the NEMO® progressing cavity pump with feed hopper and feeding screw.
Thanks to its pump housing with a large, rectangular feed hopper and removable, conically shaped stuffing chamber, as well as a coupling rod with a patented, position-optimized conveying screw, the progressing cavity pump guarantees optimal product feed into the conveying elements regardless of pressure and viscosity. The position-optimized tangential inlet on the hopper housing facilitates maximum mixing of the substrates. The B.Max is particularly suitable for continuous and low-pulsation conveying of fermented renewable raw materials, liquid manure, process water, ground biowaste, food waste, pre-processed slaughterhouse waste, concentrated substrates, thickened substrate and slop.
1 Rotor
In wear- and corrosion-resistant designs.
2 Stator
Vulcanized into the tube with sealing on both sides in a variety of elastomers. Stator inlet with conically shaped opening for improved feed of the product into the conveying chamber.
3 Mixing and conveying screw
The reinforced and staggered spiral lobes of the mixing and conveying screw ensure maximum substance homogenization.
4 Shaft seals
A single-acting, robust drive seal for the utmost in operating safety.
5 hopper housing
The position-optimized tangential inlet on the hopper housing facilitates maximum mixing of the substrates. The removable conical force-feed chamber with an opening for inspection or feeding simplifies cleaning and maintenance and allows for additional product input. Hopper can be optionally coated to protect against abrasion and corrosion.
6 Block construction
The drive is flanged directly to the lantern of the pump, resulting in compact dimensions, low total weight, constant axial heights irrespective of the construction type and size of the drive, and ease of maintenance and serviceability as well as high efficiency.
